چکیده
Abstract Mosquito larvae play an essential role in the ecological, and many of them can spread human animal diseases, including Macaca fascicularis . Information on mosquito species their habitats provide overview mosquitoes vector-borne diseases M. captivity area. This study aimed to identify diversity larvae, affinity association, larval breeding sites around area Bogor, West Java. were collected from 102 using a 350 ml dipper. that successfully consisted 11 species; Aedes albopictus, Ae. aegypti, Armigeres subalbatus, Anopheles aconitus, An. kochi, vagus, Culex fuscocephala, Cx. pseudovishnui, tritaeniorhyncus, quinquefasciatus , vishnui Co-occurrence as 13 compositions, with highest co-occurrence albopictus was times. There seven types for mosquitoes, i.e containers, ditches, creeks, ponds, artificial groundwater puddles, rice fields. We conclude existence availability site be potential transmission pathogens between hosts

Diversity of breeding habitats of anophelines (Diptera: Culicidae) in Ramgarh district, Jharkhand, India.
BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES The Ramgarh district of Jharkhand state, India is highly malarious owing to abundance of different malaria vector species, namely Anopheles culicifacies, An. fluviatilis and An. annularis. In spite of high prevalence of malaria vectors in Ramgarh, their larval ecology and climatic conditions affecting malaria dynamics have never been studied. Therefore, the objective of ...
متن کاملMosquito larvae (Diptera: Culicidae) in snow-melt pools in a Swedish Lapland area.
Culicid larvae were collected in snow-melt pools during the first half of June from 1975-1977 and 1995-1996 in the Abisko Valley, Torne Lapmark, northern Sweden. Twelve species were collected from 102 pools and 81 localities with 7,914 specimens (elevations from 300 to 650 m a.s.l.). Fourteen species are now known from the area. Ten types of larval habitats were classified and ten species were ...
متن کاملSpecies Diversity and Larval Habitat Characteristics of Mosquitoes (Diptera: Culicidae) in Golestan Province, 2016
Background & Objectives: Mosquitoes (Diptera: Culicidae) are medically considered as one of the most important species of insects in terms of disease transmission to human beings; hence, they can be vectors of remarkable diseases such as malaria, West Nile, dengue fever, yellow fever, and filariasis. This study aimed to determine the species diversity and larval habitat characteristics of mosqu...

THIS PAPER PRESENTS A STUDY BASED ON ECOLOGICAL PARAMETERS REPRESENTED BY DIVERSITY AND RICHNESS INDICES APPLIED IN A COMMUNITY OF MOSQUITOES (DIPTERA: Culicidae), at the National Forest of Caxiuanã, Melgaço municipality, state of Pará, in the Brazilian Amazon. A total of 25,433 specimens of culicids were collected in the study, from five field collection periods, over 10 months, between 2005 a...
متن کاملAnalyzing Mosquito (Diptera: Culicidae) Diversity in Pakistan by DNA Barcoding
BACKGROUND Although they are important disease vectors mosquito biodiversity in Pakistan is poorly known. Recent epidemics of dengue fever have revealed the need for more detailed understanding of the diversity and distributions of mosquito species in this region. DNA barcoding improves the accuracy of mosquito inventories because morphological differences between many species are subtle, leadi...
